A pointed pellet does one thing better than a dome and one thing worse. It penetrates: the cone concentrates the energy on a small area and drives in rather than spreading out, which is what you want on a rat behind a feed bin or a pigeon at close range. What it gives up is a little aerodynamics and, more practically, robustness. A point knocked out of true in the tin or a pocket will not fly straight, so they are worth leaving in the tin until wanted. Eight point two grains, five hundred to a tin.
Delivery: because of their weight, orders that include pellets do not qualify for free delivery over £100. Our normal postage rates apply, up to a maximum of £6.95.
