The Barrhill takes Barbour’s classic tartan and makes it up in a wool-blend fabric with faux-leather trims, so it has the soft, slightly textured feel of a good scarf rather than a printed bag. It is a neat size at 31.5cm wide, 27.5cm tall and 7.5cm deep: big enough for a purse, phone, keys and a pair of gloves, small enough to take everywhere. Carry it by the two top handles, or clip on the detachable webbed strap and wear it across the body to keep your hands free. Lined in cotton, with an embossed Barbour badge on the front.
