A .204 is a small bore to keep clean, and a rod and patches down a barrel that slim is a fiddly job. The BoreSnake does it in one pull: drop the brass weight down the barrel, take up the cord at the muzzle and draw the whole length through. The bronze brush scrubs out carbon fouling as it passes, and the tail behind it, with a cleaning surface Hoppe’s put at 160 times that of a standard patch, swabs the bore out after. The brass weight is stamped with the calibre so it never gets mixed up with your others, it coils small enough for a pocket or gun slip, and it is machine washable. Sized for .204.
