One snake, four calibres: this BoreSnake fits 7mm, .270, .280 and .284, all popular stalking calibres. Pulling it through after a morning out takes less time than unpacking a cleaning rod, and it is what stops a rifle that has been out in the wet from quietly rusting in the cabinet. Drop the brass weight down the barrel, take it up at the muzzle and pull. The bronze brush scrubs out the carbon, and the long tail, with a cleaning surface Hoppe’s put at 160 times that of a patch, swabs the bore after it. It coils into a pocket, it is machine washable, and the weight is stamped with the size.
