Two ply means two layers doing different jobs. The front is cut in three-dimensional English Oak camouflage, so it breaks up in texture rather than sitting flat like a printed sheet, and a flat sheet is exactly what a pigeon picks out against a hedge. Behind it runs a plain brown backing net, open enough to watch the sky through while you stay out of sight. Four metres by one and a half covers a hedge gap for one gun with enough left to bring round the sides, and it takes Jack Pyke’s hide poles if you are building free-standing.
