A full hunter, which means the lid closes over the dial and keeps the glass safe in a waistcoat pocket. The cover carries a cock pheasant in raised relief against a plain polished ground, so the bird catches the light rather than disappearing into engraving. It springs open to a white dial with Roman numerals and slim blued hands, and the movement behind is quartz, so there is nothing to remember to wind. Chrome finished, supplied with its chain, boxed, and covered by a two-year guarantee. One of the few things left that gets worn to a wedding and then handed on.
