Twelve inches lets you do something the smaller sizes cannot: pattern a shotgun. Put one up at forty yards, take your shot, and the spread reads back at you in bright chartreuse rather than as a scatter of holes you have to stand over to make sense of. It is the right size for zeroing a rifle at two hundred yards as well, and for slugs and muzzleloaders where the group was never going to be tight. Five targets to a pack with 120 repair pasters, all self-adhesive, so a single sheet stands a good deal of use before it is finished.
