This is the one for anyone who wants to see the works. The dial is cut away at its centre so the gilt movement turns in plain sight, and being mechanical rather than quartz it wants winding each day, which is either the entire appeal or none of it. The cover is engraved all over in scrollwork and carries its Roman numerals around a window, half hunter fashion, so the time still reads with the lid closed. Silver tone throughout, on a chain with a belt clip. Boxed, with a two-year guarantee behind it.
