This is the one that gets better. Traditional waxed cotton rather than a dry finish, so it darkens where it creases, picks up the marks of wherever it has been, and can be re-waxed for as long as you care to keep it. The shape is the plain classic bucket with no cleverness about it: brim down the whole way round, tartan lining inside, Barbour embroidery to the wearer’s left and a woven flag label at the side. Water-resistant rather than waterproof, which is what wax has always been. Sizes small through to XXL, a wider run than most. Sponge clean only.
