A slip lead is the one you keep in your pocket. It goes over the dog’s head and pulls up to fit in a single movement, so there is no collar to find first, no clip to fumble with cold fingers, and nothing to go wrong at a gate with a dog already halfway through it. This one is 150cm of 12mm polyamide rated to 50kg, which will hold a heavy dog without cutting into your hand. Barbour classic tartan runs through the handle grip where you actually hold it, finished with an embossed leather badge. Sponge clean only.
