There are jobs no glove will do. Loading a gun, unpicking a knot, finding a coin at the bottom of a pocket: a gloved hand simply cannot manage them, so the real choice is not between these and a full glove but between these and bare hands. They are knitted in pure lambswool at a seven gauge, close enough to hold the heat across the palm and the back of the hand, which is where most of it goes anyway.
