Gloves are lost one at a time. The Joni has a small clip on each, so the pair can be fastened together and dropped into a pocket or a bag as one thing, which sounds like nothing until you count the odd gloves in the drawer at home. The rest is sound enough: a waterproof membrane beneath quilted thermal wadding, a toggle at the wrist to draw out the draught, and a polyurethane palm that grips a wet gate and works a telephone without coming off. Sponge clean only, and they will not survive a machine.
