Fleece is a practical fabric that rarely looks like much, which is what the trim is doing here: binding at the edges and around the pocket openings, enough to lift the thing out of workwear and into something you would keep on for lunch afterwards. It is cut light rather than bulky, so it layers under a coat instead of fighting it, which is the opposite proposition to a thick sherpa gilet and the better one if you are in and out of a vehicle all day. Full zip to a high neck, zipped pockets, and it washes at thirty.
