Tartan collars are usually webbing the whole way through. This one has real leather behind the cloth, so what sits against the dog’s neck is leather rather than a nylon edge, and it softens with wearing instead of going hard and fraying at the buckle. The fittings are aged brass with an embossed Barbour badge on the strap, which looks as good on a wet black labrador as it does on a liver and white spaniel, and there is a matching leather lead if you would like the two to go together. Three sizes with adjustment in each, so it fits a cocker as well as it fits a lab.
