This is the lead you keep for best. Real leather with aged brass-effect fittings and Barbour classic tartan running through it, finished with contrast top stitching and an embossed badge. It is a good deal smarter than the webbing lead that lives by the back door, and unlike webbing it will look better the longer you have it. A metre long and 19mm wide, enough to hold a strong dog without feeling like a rope in the hand. Leather does want a little looking after: wipe it clean, keep it out of prolonged rain, and never dry it by a fire.
