A wool mini over thick tights and a good pair of boots is one of those combinations that simply works, and this is a lovely one. It is cut regular rather than tight so it moves with you, at forty-three centimetres, and made in merino, fine enough to wear against bare legs on a milder day. The detailing is what lifts it: proper flap pockets fastened with branded dome buttons, a zip at the centre back and a slim Barbour bar at the front waist.
