The same quick-access opening as the Cordura version, cut instead from Duotex, which is quieter against clothing and a shade more forgiving when you set the bag down in wet stubble. The mouth stays open to the hand so cartridges come out without a second look, and a holder on the shoulder strap keeps four non-toxic rounds separate for the birds that need them. Faux leather and buckle fastening give it the traditional look that suits a driven day better than plain nylon does. The front strap adjusts to hold a part-full bag tight. Around 27 by 20 by 10 centimetres, in brown or green.

Alan Paine clothing has three defined fits, ‘Shooting Fit’, ‘Classic Fit’ and ‘Fashion & Tailored Fit’. The fit can be found under the features tab on each product page – please see the fit definitions below in order to help you choose the best style for you.

The Shooting Fit builds 10″ to 12″ into the garment from actual chest size, allowing for movement and layering.

The Classic Fit builds 5″ to 6″ into the garment from actual chest size, allowing for layering.

The Fashion & Tailored Fit builds 6″ to 8″ into the garment from actual chest size for a closer fit.
