The sides are structured and the base is flat, so it keeps its shape on the floor beside a chair and what is inside stays where you left it instead of sliding into a heap at the bottom. Grained faux leather throughout, with a wide strap over the top and gold fittings, and in black it is about as useful as a bag gets: it goes with everything and shows nothing.
