Much the same weight as a domed pellet, and an entirely different job. The hollow point is made to open on impact and give up its energy inside the quarry rather than carrying straight through, which is what you want for close-range pest control. The trade is aerodynamic: a hollow nose is less slippery through the air than a dome, so it sheds speed sooner and is less forgiving at distance. Keep it inside twenty-five or thirty yards and it does precisely what it was made for. Fourteen point two grains, five hundred to the tin.
