Tie dye usually means brights, which is why most of it never gets anywhere near a country wardrobe. This one is worked in olive, deep teal, stone and chocolate instead, colours you would find in a wood in November, and the difference that makes is considerable. The shapes are broad angular blocks rather than spirals, with soft scrubbed edges where one colour gives way to the next, so the effect is closer to painted than dyed. Fine, light cloth with a narrow fringe. Good over a plain jumper, and it will not fight a wax jacket.
