This is the quilted jacket in miniature, and dog owners being what they are, that is half the appeal. Diamond quilting over wadding, a cord collar that folds forward when the wind gets round the neck, and a Barbour badge on the side, so the dog looks a proper part of the family photograph. It gives warmth rather than waterproofing: the coat for a cold dry morning, for the back of the car, or for an old dog that feels the winter more than it used to. The underbody belt buckles on one side and grips with Velcro on the other, and a keyhole takes the lead through to a harness underneath. Six sizes, XS to XXL.
