The collar that stays on the dog has to put up with ditches, rivers and whatever it decides to roll in, which is why the core of this one is webbing rather than anything precious. Over the top runs a strip of real cotton tartan, stitched down the length of it, so it reads as Barbour rather than as kit. Aged brass fittings and an embossed badge finish it off. The width goes up with the size, from 15mm on the small to 25mm on the large, so a big dog gets a collar with some substance to it rather than a strap that vanishes into the coat. There is a matching webbing lead for the pair.
