The spots are scribbled rather than filled in. Look closely and you can see the strokes inside each one, as though somebody had coloured them by hand and not minded going over the line. It stops the print feeling mechanical, which a perfect polka dot always does, and gives it a bit of warmth. The colours are cheerful without tipping into childish, a handful of brights scattered across a quiet ground, and there are three grounds to choose from: pale grey, deep navy and a soft blush pink. Fine, light cloth with a good drape and a neat hem.
