A hat cut from the same 6oz waxed cotton as a Barbour jacket, which is more useful than it sounds. Most winter hats turn into a wet sponge in a downpour; this one sheds it and carries on. Inside there is a soft polyester fleece lining, and the crown is Cossack-shaped with a deep band of faux fur, so it has some presence about it rather than sitting flat on the head. It comes in proper sizes rather than one-size-fits-nobody, in olive or navy. Sponge clean only, as with the jackets, and it will weather in the same handsome way.
