Bouclé is what makes this one different. The yarn is looped rather than spun smooth, so the surface comes up nubbly and soft under the hand, with a slight haze to it that blurs the edges of the check and stops the tartan looking severe. The tassels are deliberately oversized, hanging long at both ends, which gives the scarf some movement as you walk rather than leaving it to sit there. At 180 by 38cm there is enough to wind twice and still have length in hand, and a Barbour woven label sits on the reverse. Hand wash at 30°C.
