Cut long and easy, the Stokesley is a rain coat rather than a rain jacket. It falls below the knee and drops off the shoulder, so it goes over a jumper or a dress without a fuss, and a braided drawcord at the waist pulls in a shape when you want one. The cotton-rich outer has the handle of a proper coat rather than a technical shell. A foldover hood draws in at both sides, the zip hides beneath a placket of engraved brass studs, and two deep flap pockets swallow gloves and a phone. A brass D-ring sits at the chest and tartan lines the hood. Machine washable, UK 8 to 18.
