The Sapper is the one people try on and then keep on. There is a military cut to it, four big pockets across the front and a drawcord inside the waist that pulls the jacket into a shape rather than letting it hang, and in 6oz Sylkoil wax it has that dry matte handle that weathers and marks handsomely instead of staying showroom new. The hood stays rolled away in the collar until the rain arrives. Inside it is quilted and warm, with corduroy at the collar and cuffs where the jacket meets skin. Olive or black, S to XXL, cut relaxed. Re-wax it every couple of seasons and it will go on for years.
