The Whitley is cut in a soft wool-blend tartan cloth rather than canvas or wax, trimmed in faux leather and fastened with a buckled flap, so it sits as happily with a coat and boots on a Saturday as with something smarter in the evening. The mini size is 20 by 15 by 6cm, which is phone, purse, keys and a lipstick, with an internal zip pocket for what you would rather not lose in the lining. The strap adjusts for wearing across the body or up on the shoulder, and a small metal Barbour badge finishes the front.
