Training a young dog on hand-thrown dummies runs out of road quickly. You cannot throw far enough to make a proper mark, and you cannot throw and fire at the same time without a second pair of hands. The launcher does both at once. A .22 blank sends the dummy two or three times the distance you would manage on your own, and the report goes with it, so the dog learns steadiness to shot and a long mark in the same exercise. It works over water as well as land, the dummy floats, and there is an extractor built in for the spent case. Supplied with a red PVC dummy. Blanks are sold separately.
