The number that matters here is nine metres. Most rifle scopes will not focus closer than fifty, which is no use to an airgunner shooting at twenty yards down a barn or across a garden. The side wheel on this one comes right in, and once it does it earns its keep twice over: sharp at the distances you actually shoot, and usable as a rangefinder, since the point at which the image snaps into focus tells you how far out the target is. Thirty millimetre tube, six levels of red illumination, and an AMX reticle drawn for pellet trajectories rather than bullet ones.
