A tartan is a bolder thing than a country check, and this one makes no pretence otherwise. The setts are proper named Barbour tartans, Hessian, Ancient Loden, Charcoal and Indigo among them, drawn at a scale you notice from across a room, so the shirt wears as the main event rather than as something to layer under a jumper and forget about. It is cut regular in pure cotton, with a full button front, buttoned cuffs, and the only branding a discreet mark at the back of the neck. UK 8 to 18. Machine wash at 30°C.
