The tartan is the point, and you mostly cannot see it. It sits underneath the placket, showing only when the buttons are undone, and again on the tape at the back of the neck where nobody but the wearer knows it is there. From a few feet away this is simply a good plain polo. The piqué is a proper 220gsm weight, heavy enough to hold its collar rather than curling after three washes, and there is an embroidered Barbour shield on the chest. Sizes small through to XXXL, in a long list of colours. Machine wash at 30°C.
