The colour has been washed out of this one deliberately. Where a new polo tends to announce itself in a flat, saturated shade, this arrives looking as though it has already spent three summers on a boat: softened, gently faded, and a good deal easier to put with other things. Underneath, it is straightforward and well made. Pure cotton piqué, a ribbed collar and cuffs that hold their shape rather than going limp, a two-button placket, and the Barbour shield embroidered at the chest. Sizes small through to XXXL. Machine wash at 30°C, and it will only look the better for it.
