A proper welly sock comes up above the top of the boot, so it cannot slip down and bunch around the ankle, and the rim of the wellington rubs against sock rather than skin. This one reaches the knee and is knitted from a soft blend that is 40 per cent Merino wool, with acrylic and polyamide for strength and a little elastane, so the stretch cuff at the top holds without digging in. The toe seams are made to sit comfortably inside a boot. Machine washable at thirty. Medium fits shoe sizes 6 to 8 and Large fits 9 to 11.
