Yarn count is the quiet thing that decides how a shirt looks. This one is woven in double 80s, a far finer yarn than the heavy country twills, so the cloth comes out smoother and lighter and sits properly under a jacket instead of bunching at the shoulder. It is still brushed on both faces, so none of the softness is lost. The fit is tailored, which is the trimmest of the Barbour cuts, with a button-down collar and a single chest pocket carrying the shield label. Blue check, inky blue or merlot, sizes small to XXXL. Machine wash at 30°C.
