Sixteen times is more magnification than most shooting needs, and knowing when it earns its place is the trick. Off a bipod at a rested hundred and fifty yards it shows you things a twelve will not. Freehand at dusk it shows you your own heartbeat, and the picture thins to 3.1mm of light at the top end, less than the 4-12×50 manages wound fully out. So this is a scope for a rifle that gets rested and a range that is known, and on those terms it is the sharpest tool in the Vantage range. Adjustable objective from fourteen metres, illuminated red or green.

Alan Paine clothing has three defined fits, ‘Shooting Fit’, ‘Classic Fit’ and ‘Fashion & Tailored Fit’. The fit can be found under the features tab on each product page – please see the fit definitions below in order to help you choose the best style for you.

The Shooting Fit builds 10″ to 12″ into the garment from actual chest size, allowing for movement and layering.

The Classic Fit builds 5″ to 6″ into the garment from actual chest size, allowing for layering.

The Fashion & Tailored Fit builds 6″ to 8″ into the garment from actual chest size for a closer fit.
